Overview

This is the longer version of this walk. Starting from Machen we will follow a disused railway line along the valley bottom to reach the bluebell woods before climbing to the open common on Mynydd Garn Wen. We then take the Rhymney Valley ridgeway along the top before dropping back down to our starting point.
