Overview

Overview:

Circular walk from Bo'ness. Starting from the Bo'ness & Kinneil railway we soon arrive at the old town of Bo'ness where will explore some interesting buildings demonstrating the town's architectural, industrial & historical heritage. We then follow the John Muir Way along the foreshore and through the nature reserve before heading to  Kinneil House, museum, site of the Antonine wall and Roman Fort. Our return is by a similar route but we'll walk through some wild flower meadows before reaching the foreshore & back to the station for refreshments if required. Steam trains should be seen along the way.
