This is a lovely circular walk that starts at Muiravonside Country Park, from where we climb up to the aqueduct and take the Union Canal towards Linlithgow. We pass through the town to Linlithgow Bridge and the Avon Viaduct from where we walk along the river Avon Heritage Trail back to the country park.
The walk is mainly flat apart from many steps at the aqueduct.
You should wear boots, and depending on the weather gaiters, and bring poles if you use them.
We regret that dogs are not allowed on our walks.

Driving instructions:
Take M8 from Calder Roundabout, then M9 at J2, then leave M9 at J4 signed for Linlithgow. Exit onto A801 to Muiravonside Country Park. There is a £2 charge for parking.
