Overview

A varied enjoyable walk starting and finishing with the attractive setting of Linlithgow Loch and Palace, crossing farmed countryside to Bo'ness foreshore, following the Railway Preservation line and the edge Kinneil Nature Reserve  to historic Kinneil House.  Return through Kinneil Woods, via the John Muir Way to Linlithgow and the path along the Loch side.

A mix of countryside and peripheral urban walking with glimpses of the area's long history and industrial heyday.  Surfaces are mainly grass tracks and paved paths with some road pavement walking.
