Overview

This is Walk 4 of 5 Ramblers' led walks that are part of the Abingdon Walking Festival. Walks open to all. Non-members welcome. This is a moderate walk largely in quiet open countryside. The route follows the Thames Path passing Culham and Clifton Locks to the ornate bridge at Clifton Hampden. Through Clifton Hampden, around the JET project on the old airfield and to the River Thames with views of Abingdon. Return to Abingdon along the Thames, Abingdon Lock and the Abbey grounds.
