Due to Albury Estates now charging £20 for a stay greater than 4 hours at the Silent Pool car park this walk will now continue onto Shere. We will still need to pay to park in Shere but the cost is much lower, £6 for upto 6 hours which we will need to share between the walkers.
This is leg 1 of 4 which will see us complete the Fox Way circular that winds its way around Guildford. This 1st leg will see us walk from Ripley to the Shere a distance of 8.8 miles.
As this is a linear walk we will meet at Shere, we will then be looking for 3 volunteers to drive the group to Ripley to start the walk. At the end of the walk we will then be looking for a volunteer to drive back to Ripley with the three drivers to collect their cars from the start.
