This is a linear walk from Bosham station to Chichesterstation. The paths around Bosham flood at high tide which is why a flexible approach may be necessary. It should be low tide and we will be able to follow the beach to the Itchenor Ferry ( cost £3). The alternative walk is by country lane. On the Itchenor side, the walk is straightforward, a mix of country lanes, woodland and farm tracks lead us back along the coast to Chichester railway station. Some lovely coastal views. There are toilets in Bosham, Itchenor, Birdham. We will stop for a short BYO coffee stop at Itchenor ( altought there is a pub which serves coffee too!) and the lunch stop will be at Birdham Marina where there are two cafes. This is a completely flat walk with good paths. It is exposed so bring water and sun protection and check website on the day in case of cancellation or difficulty with trains, If you wish to drive to this walk, parking is free at Bosham station and there are trains and buses back from Chichester
