Overview

Starting at Bowes Village Hall carpark. Short walk on road then following along the side of the valley, across fields. There are a large number of stiles on this section,  Then another short section on a quiet road, crossing the Greta river. Then turning back towards Bowes, following the route of the Greta river along tracks and bridleways. Crossing another beck then finally on a quiet road back into Bowes.

Lots of stiles which are not always easy to climb over. Elevation of 400ft of climb most of which is gradual climbs rather than steep sections. Moderate walk due to stiles.

Not suitable for dogs.
