At a moderate pace on the shoulders of the Surrey Downs, via Norbury Park, Polesden Lacey, Ranmore Common and Denbies Vineyard. Some inclines; good views and chance for last minute Christmas shopping at Polesden Lacey (NT) and Denbies.

Lunch: Picnic/café at NT's Polesden Lacey (NT card not needed for café).

Train: London Victoria 9:41; Clapham Junction 9:48; Sutton 10:13 (Horsham train).
