Lovely woodlands and great views of the Cothi valley on this half-day relaxed walk in the Brechfa forest.
We'll follow well-marked footpaths from the car park up into the woods, enjoying the clean air among the trees. There are huge Douglas firs as well as Norway spruce, with lichen and fungi, ferns and bilberry.
There will be mud, of course, with tree roots and fallen branches. You'll need good footwear and waterproofs, while walking poles are a great help on the steeper areas.
Please contact the walk leader by text or mobile phone if you wish to participate in this walk.

Dogs on short leads are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.
