Experience spring in beautiful woodland, enjoy a carpet of wild flowers and bursting green buds and blossom. after exploring the woods, the path takes us over the fields to the little village of Llangain and on through quiet country lanes and farm roads. We past the old church, now renovated as a lovely house and several farms before crossing fields which open out giving fine views over the Towy estuary and Gower.
We return to the woods and shaded paths before crossing the Llansteffan Road and returning to Green Castle once more.
the walk uses woodland paths which can be muddy, and footpaths crossing fields where farm animals will be grazing. There are a few stiles to navigate but paths are mainly flat or gently sloping. Most of the walk is on firm ground, farm tracks and minor roads.
