Overview

We start at Puncknowle (pronounced 'Punnel') and walk inland through the Bride Valley to Litton Cheney and Long Bredy. We then turn south towards the coast at The Pavilion in the grounds of Bellamont House and climb up to the South Dorset Ridgeway passing the Kingston Russel Stone Circle.

The Ridgeway provides stunning views of Abbotsbury, and along the Jurassic Coast from Portland to Devon. We will walk though Abbotsbury Castle (Hillfort) as we walk west before we turn inland and return to Puncknowle.
