When recce'd this was a delightful walk with easy grassy paths, pretty and varied countryside and an old hidden churchyard for a lunch stop. I have known a bit of wet mud to develop around one field gate and doubtless the field of maize will be a bit sticky underfoot but I am hoping it will still be OK in early October. It is an undulating walk but nothing very steep and there are 3 or 4 stiles.
Picnic, no dogs
Cogden is a NT carpark so charges apply.
Please check this website post 19:00 on the day before the walk in the rare event it has been cancelled.
