With unpredictable weather I have opted for a walk that has well drained footpaths. Also, if the weather is poor on the day it will be possible for me to shorten the walk if required.
The walk takes us from Broadstone through the recreation ground and eventually onto the old railway line that ran from Broadstone to Hamworthy. We leave the old railway to pick up footpaths out over Upton Heath and eventually join the Roman Road up to Corfe Mullen and Corfe Mullen park where we stop for lunch. After lunch we return to the Roman Road and tracks towards Merley where we pick up the Stour Valley Way and leave this to head up towards the Willet Arms. Here we re-join the railway from Wimborne to Broadstone taking in some paths in the Delph Woods back to our start point.
Please text Dave on 07766473720 to join this walk
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
Walking shoes or boots are recommended as some places could be muddy.
The option of after walk drinks will take place in one of the watering holes in Broadstone.
