Overview

C WALK DESCRIPTION: 6.75 miles. 1300 ft ascent. Circular walk. We start in the stunning Cotswold village of Broadway and head southwest to the village of Buckland before turning north east to reach Broadway Court. Our route then climbs east on Coneygree lane to reach the high point of Broadway Tower Country Park. We will have a picnic stop here to enjoy the far-reaching views or use the cafe and toilets. We continue past The Tower, an iconic landmark on top of the beautiful Cotswolds escarpment. It was the brainchild of the great 18th century landscape designer, “Capability Brown”. We then follow The Cotswold Way descending steadily to Broadway with a pub stop if time allows.
