A circular ramble timed to get the best of autumn colours in mostly decidous forest. Starting at White Stubbs Lane Car Park we head straight into Bencroft woods before heading north towards Brickenden and Monks Green along tree lined tracks and through fields. We enter Balls Wood and a bit of Hertford Heath, both designated nature reserves, before returning into Broxbourne Woods.
This walk is undulating without steep hills, soft under foot, no tarmac but may be muddy after heavy rain.
Bring a picnic. Car sharing can be arranged.
