Overview

This is a 4-mile varied walk through Burnham Beeches ancient woodland. 

The pace will be easy, there are no stiles and it is mostly on good paths.  It is a great walk for new members and people who are getting back into walking after a break as the walk can be shortened to 2 miles.  Join us for a drink and a chat afterwards.

Come and discover the ancient beech Pollards in this internationally important place for conservation and wildlife!

Meet near the information point next to the café, toilets and seating area. There are 5 car parks in Lord Mayors Drive as you drive into the Beeches and the meeting point is a short walk from the last car park. Parking is via card or Ringo app and is £1.50 for 2 hours or £3 for all day. The post code is the nearest postcode to the parking area. The easiest way is to take A355 Beaconsfield road and turn left into Beeches road in Farnham Common. At the end you can see the small road, Lord Mayors Drive into Burnham Beeches. The First X74 bus from Slough to High Wycombe stops in Farnham Common. Alight and walk along Beeches Way and into the Burnham Beeches car parking area.
