We are the Windsor & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This walk follows part of the original "Wycombe Railway" closed between Bourne End and High Wycombe in 1970. We will review the Brunel goods shed, part of the original Wycombe station. Starting at the original running in board at Wycombe station, our walk route includes street walking and several stretches of delightful woodland track bed. Walking boots are recommended. Bring a packed lunch and drink to eat near the former Loudwater Green station. After lunch we will continue to the site of Wooburn Green station before arriving at Bourne End station around 4pm. This is a joint walk with the Railway Ramblers. The walk is limited to 25 participants.
Meet outside High Wycombe railway station. There is parking at the station. You can catch the X74 bus from Slough or the 37 from Maidenhead to High Wycombe bus station
The walk finishes at Bourne End railway station. You can catch a bus (37) back to High Wycombe or a bus or train to Maidenhead to link with the GWR or Elizabeth Line.
