Tempted by a long beach walk to stretch your legs at the start of the week. Great views. The Quantocks and Hinkley look so impressive on a clear day.
This is a very flat walk, no stiles and takes in the promenade as well as some firm sandy beach. No hills and very little mud! (Tides times have been considered.)
Interestingly, Burnham has three lighthouses and we will get to see at least one of these and take our drinks break in Marine Cove. After our picnic lunch adjacent to the tiny, historic church nestled amongst the sands dunes of Berrow, we will retrace our outbound steps.
This is a linear walk, there and back about 10 miles.
THIS WALK MUST BE BOOKED WITH THE WALK LEADER. START DETAILS WILL BE CONFIRMED BY THE WALK LEADER.
Drinks and a picnic lunch are needed.
There are toilet facilities along the promenade in Burnham.
Coffee shop/ice cream refreshments available near the end of the walk (optional.)
No dogs.
