Overview

Roadside parking close to Poole’s Cavern entrance. We walk up through the wood and out top and up to Solomons Tower for stunning views (real or imaginary). Down via Grinlow park (toilets) and over the road onto Stanely Moor and further on dipping in and out of Health & Safety laboratory grounds. Out by Leap edge, with some undefined, uneven surfaces here. Up to the busy main road and straight over, then paths onto Axe edge Moor and Northwards and straight over the next busy main road before cutting back to follow a stream into Buxton. A final fling into the Country park before coming out by the cars.  Graded Moderate but some bits felt strenuous.
