Distances are over 10 miles.

Please note, there are still doubts over whether a full timetable will be operating on this date and it may be that we shall have to catch an earlier train. Please check this site nearer the date of the walk for confirmation.

The walk will start at Buxton station after the arrival of the 09.47 from Manchester Piccadilly due at 10.48.

Note: walkers are advised to check one of the rail websites such as nationalrail or trainline close to the departure time in case of late changes to the running of the train.

Train ticket - return to Buxton (if you have a GM concessionary pass this can be from Middlewood).

Car parking available at Buxton station.

Walk route - Cunning Dale, Pictor Hall, Cowlow, Wye Dale, Deep Dale, Back Dale, Brierlow Dale, disused railway track, Grin Low, Solomon's Temple.

Expected time back into Buxton - 17.30.
