Overview

From Inverness Leisure Centre, we'll head towards the Caledonian Canal, a major Highland landmark which traverses the Great Glen from the Beauly Firth, Inverness, to Fort William. We'll walk along the canal towpath towards the Beauly Firth to reach the viewpoint at Clachnaharry. After taking in the views and hopefully spotting plenty of seabirds, we'll head back along the canal towpath on the opposite side, towards the Leisure Centre.

Concrete canal towpath with occasional loose gravel underfoot. Meeting point is grassy which may be muddy if wet.
