This 5.5mile ramble is a linear station to station walk. The walk starts immediately outside Cambridge North railway station by the statue (Hercules meets Galatea) at 10am. There is a Greater Anglian train that arrives at 9.57am which the leader will be using so if this is delayed please be patient.
The walk follows the River Cam from the station to Jesus Green passing many of the college boathouses en route. It then passes some of the colleges in the centre of Cambridge before heading to Cambridge Station where the walk will finish.
A table has been booked at the Railway Tavern for those who would like to join the walk leader for lunch after the walk. Please let the walk leader know by noon on Monday 22nd December if you plan to join for lunch so that final number can be confirmed with the pub.
