We are the Pontypool Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our walk today takes us on a beautiful, secluded stretch of the River Wye before climbing to All Saints Church at Brockhampton – a grade 1 listed Arts & Crafts church completed in 1902. We then move on to the hill fort at Caplar Camp. Our return takes us through Lee & Pagett Wood nature reserve and a lovely ridge walk over Common Hill. Refreshments afterwards at New Inn (in beer garden if weather favourable)
