For this walk we will travel into Ceredigian using public transport from Haverfordwest.
NOTE- See below for meeting place and time for bus.
Upon arrival at Cardigan we will walk along the river valley and Teifi Gorge to Cilgerran Castle and the Coracle Centre.
The return route takes us through the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve.
A section of this walk climbs up the side of the Teifi Gorge. The path is steep, narrow and close to a steep drop. The walk is therefore only suitable for sure footed walkers who do not suffer from a fear of heights. See warning sign in attached photos.
NOTE - A change to the published bus timetable should enable us to catch the 3.15 return bus. We will therefore start the walk as soon as the bus arrives in Cardigan. Those using car transport should meet us on Prince Charles Quay no later than 10.05.
This walk is unsuitable for dogs.
Please visit this site on the evening before the walk to check for any late changes as the path along the Gorge could be hazardous after or during heavy rain.
