Overview

GRADE - LEISURELY PLUS

Meet at Partick Station in time to catch the 10.08 train to Cardross.   Purchase return ticket to Cardross.

A lovely walk over the hill from Cardross to Dumbarton.   The route follows a long steady climb up a farm road, descending to the cycle path along the River Leven.   Lovely views at the top - east and west (hopefully!) - over the Clyde.

The farm road is rough and can be wet, muddy and slippy.   It passes through two farm yards.   Boots and poles recommended.   There is one very busy road to cross.

Please bring a snack to have en route as we will have lunch slightly later than usual at the end of the walk in Levengrove Park.
