Starting from the car park of Castle Coch, we will walk through forest, eventually climbing up Craig Yr Allt onto the Ridgeway, before dropping down on the via Mountain View Ranch and the golf course, then back through more forestry to the start.
Although a relatively short walk, there is around 370 metres of ascent.
Please note there is one section where we will need to walk on the road.

Free parking in the Castle. It is a Bank Holiday but it looks to be open.
Nearest train station is Taffs Well.
