Overview

BUS RAMBLE- A walk along rugged coastal cliffs changing into one along an estuary for the last part of the walk.  There is an initial ascent on a minor road from  Aberporth passing the military research base run by QinetiQ then after crossing fields we descend for some time on the path gradually getting nearer to the coast. There are some impressive sheer cliff views especially towards Mwnt & beyond it.  There is a lovely sandy beach as well as the well known 12th century white church at Mwnt on Nat Trust grounds. About an hour after Mwnt the path gradually ascends through fields to meet the road from Gwbert to Cardigan which we follow for a while alongside the Teifi estuary before going R on tracks , fields & paths to reach Cardigan.
