Overview

For those who want a short, easy walk before Christmas lunch, we start at the car park at the Inn at Charlestown. From there we head down to the shore, past the famous Limekilns, in the direction of Ironmill Bay and Crombie. Before the bay, we walk by the burn inland to the Broomhall Estate, passing through its delightful landscapes. We return by the bowling green and the Queen's Hall to the village green at Charlestown and the hotel car park.
