This is a linear walk from Dalgety Bay to Aberdour Silver Sands. The route returns the same way but with two extra loops to wartime defences and to Monks Cave at Braefoot Bay. There will be a stop for lunch near the Sands café, Silver Sands beach.

Walk grade: Leisurely/C
Ramblers grade: Leisurely. Walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. May include unsurfaced rural paths. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are recommended.
Car Share: Passengers please give your driver £3
There is a good path for most of this walk, with a small section on grass. The path to Monk's Cave is narrow at the entrance to the cave. Stout footwear advised.
Please take care at minor road crossings and be aware of aerial golf balls by the golf course at Aberdour.
