Meet at Glasgow Central Station at 10.00 a.m. to catch the 10.18 a.m. train to Chatelherault. You will need a return ticket.
The walk is on designated paths though some may be muddy, walking poles recommended. There are several short stretches which are uphill. The walk starts in Chatelherault Park, coming out of the park and following the Avon Water almost as far as Larkhall then following the road back up to Chatelherault Park.
Toilets are available at Chatelherault Visitor Centre at the beginning and end of the walk.
