Cheriton

Leaving the rec we follow a quiet lane which quickly becomes a track and leads into a pretty copse then into downland where there may be grazing sheep.  We reach the South Downs Way where we stop for a quick drinks break and appreciate the view.  On our way back to Cheriton we have one stile leading into a field which may contain horses.  After a gentle downhill stretch we return to the car park (and the Flowerpots for those in need of a pint).
