We are the Newark Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a one-way walk along the Chesterfield Canal, taking the train from Kiveton Park to Worksop and walking back - uphill as there's lots of locks! Coffee and lunch breaks.
The train is scheduled for 9:59am so it is essential that you arrive in time. Free parking in the layby on the north side of the road approx 10 minutes walk west of the station. What3Words digit.props.escalated.
There is chargeable parking at the station but it can be full.
The towpath is mostly fairly good.

Layby on north side of road, approximately a third of a mile west of Kiveton Park Railway Station. Actual walk will commence in Worksop after the train ride.
