River Trent from Elston

We will start by following a new footpath in Elston, before making our way out of the village and down to the River Trent, with good views on a clear day. We will then walk beside the river, before returning to Elston via East Stoke. The route includes part of the Battle of Stoke Field trail; it is mainly flat, with one quite steep downhill section. There will be a coffee stop beside the river and a picnic lunch stop in East Stoke. Dogs are welcome if kept under close control.
