Overview

This is a moderate rural walk on good paths and some quiet roads, with a small number of stiles and two moderate ascents. The route is mainly sheltered from the elements, but the paths may be muddy in the wooded sections.

We will begin our walk from the village of Chettle and make our way via Minchington and Dean to Sixpenny Handley. We shall then enter Chase Woods and on to the Ashmore Estate where will will stop for lunch.

We will continue via Tinkley Bottom to Tollard Royal and onto the Larmer Tree Estate before we return to Chettle via Farnham Woods.

Post walk there will be the opportunity to take refreshments at the Chettle village shop.
