Chinnor and Princes Risborough Heritage Railway are celebrating 200 years of steam with a weekend of not 1, not 2, not even 3, but 4 steam engines chuffing their way through a packed schedule of journeys between the two stations. This walk has been designed to take advantage of this unique opportunity to see and listen to a much higher density of steam engine activity along this line where footpaths follow, criss-cross and look down upon the line in multiple places, with level crossings, bridges and even a cricket pitch along the route. Most of the route is fairly flat. There will be stiles and there is a kissing gate a bit tighter than usually encountered. Lunch stop at Wades Cafe next to playing fields in Princes Risborough.
