We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Pre-registration preferred **
Moderately paced 7.6 mile walk; mainly flat terrain.
Drop-out possible at Chobham for taxi to station.
Route: Circular walk from Longcross station over Chobham Common - described as the last of the Surrey Heaths.
Lunch Stop: Picnic - with possibility of stopping for a drink at the Four Horseshoes in Chobham.
Meet at Longcross Station at 10.10.
Travel: Waterloo 09.20/Clapham Junction 09.28/Richmond 09.36 - Reading train - arr 10.06.
Ticket/Fare: Off Peak Return to Longcross £19.90/Railcard 13.10/SRC+FP £6.00.
Finish: Longcross Station - probable return train at 15.45.
