Chorleywood, Chenies, Chess Valley and Sarratt

We will walk across Chorleywood Common, skirting the leafy fringes of Chorleywood, then north to Chenies along the Chiltern Way. We will then descend into the Chess Valley, climb southeast to Sarratt Church, then return to Chess Valley and back to Chorleywood along Chess Valley Walk.  The route has mainly nice wide paths, with good surfaces and as it is moderately hilly, inspiring open views. 

Please bring along a packed lunch and drinks for the day but in the event of bad weather, there is a conveniently placed garden centre with cafe on the route.

Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.  Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.

The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book.  If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
