From the Lawn Cemetery Car Park we will walk through Chorleywood House down to The Chess and keeping the same side of the river, we then come back up across fields to The Common which has many beautiful trees. A picturesque walk with views towards Sarratt in the first half of the walk.
We will be crossing the main road twice at pelican crossings.
Lunch at The Cock, Church Lane, Sarratt, Rickmansworth WD3 6HH for those who want it. If you are wishing to come and you are able please email the walk leader beforehand by 6pm the day before so a table can be booked, as this would be very helpful.
Chorleywood Lawn Cemetery Car Park, Lady Ella Drive, off Chorleywood Drive, Chorleywood WD3 5TL. The entrance (Lady Ella Drive) is adjacent to the distinctive white Parish Council Building opposite Chorleywood Cricket Pitch.
