A delightful pre-Christmas Lunch walk. The walk starts at the The Wolds Inn car park (off Driffield Road). The route descends through rough pasture then through the village to meet the Yorkshire Wolds Way westerly passing Glebe Farm, into Horse Dale affording some magnificent views of this dale. A descent brings the party to a slight right turn leaving the Yorkshire Wolds Way the route curves Easterly towards Harper Dale. A gentle ascent then descent into Rabbit Dale follows. A right turn follows towards Oxlands Dale and onto the Chalkland Way returning the party to Huggate by Cowdale. Ascending through the village and to the Wolds Inn car park.

For those who wish to join the walk but have not booked for the Christmas lunch please park in the Huggate village car park (off Driffield Road) this is a short walk from the Wolds Inn where the walk will start. Car parking space is limited at The Wolds Inn, car sharing is encouraged.
