Walk from Fleur de Lys at Lowsonford. This will be just under six miles followed by lunch at the Fleur de Lys at 1pm. Lunch needs to be prebooked and places are limited. The lunch is now fully booked but there is a waiting list. Even if you are not booked for lunch please join the walk and a drink after the walk.
The walk is along lanes, canal towpath and fields. There will some slightly muddy bits but there is a lot on firm surfaces. There are a few stiles. Boots and poles, if you use them, are recommended but not essential. Muddy footwear will need to be removed before entering the pub.
There will be a stop on the walk at some lock gates so please bring a snack and a drink if you wish.
Please join the walk even if you are not staying for lunch.
