Overview

Leaving Maulds Meaburn we soon begin to walk alongside the Lyvennet Beck. This we follow for some distance passing through pastureland gradually heading uphill onto Crosby Ravensworth Fell. Our walk on the fell passes close by Robin Hoods Grave, crosses the infant Lyvennet and passes several large Erratics and areas of Limestone pavement. We then turn North at the Wicker Street Cairn following the route of the old Roman Road. Heading downhill we eventually enter Crosby Ravensworth, before retracing our route back to Maulds Meaburn.
