This delightful 9-mile circular countryside walk showcases two of Essex's most attractive villages, Coggeshall and Kelvedon. Along the way, it takes in the ruins of an abbey and a mill, as well as the most attractive section of the River Blackwater. There are two stiles, and footpaths are good unless we have rain before hand in which case there will be some mud.
Lunch will be at the White Hart pub in Coggeshall. Please send your lunch pre-order (see attached menus) to the walk leader by text message or e-mail no later than mid-day Wednesday 14th January. [Memo: The pub advised that orders on the day will be accepted but those diners may have to sit on another table and they may be pressed for time as only 45 minutes are planned for the lunch break.]
