We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the Leisure Centre car park, we walk out to Woodoaks Farm and climb up through Ladywalk wood. Then across farmland into Bottom Wood, continuing to join Old Shire Lane, Bullsland Lane and the Swillet. We then walk down through fields past the back of houses in Heronsgate, eventually re-joining our outward route back to the car park. Please bring along a drink for a mid-morning break and the walk may be muddy if there has been rain, so poles could be useful.
Meet at William Penn Leisure Centre car park, Shepherds Road, Rickmansworth, WD3 8JN where there us a free car park.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
