Overview

Walk includes Birmingham University Museums and sculptures trail plus a canal walk via an aqueduct and a visit to Bournville Village - passing slowly by Cadbury’s Factory shop (open to the public) and cafe en-route. You can literally smell the chocolate making from the factory.  It is planned to have approx one hour stop at Bournville Village Green to enable members to look around (please bring a packed lunch or plan to buy from the Village shops). As we exit the Village you will have an opportunity to view the Arts and Crafts architectural styles.

Walk starts at 10.30 a.m. from the Birmingham University Railway station. This is a train stop on the Cross City Railway line from Redditch to Lichfield. It is intended to use public transport - address provided for reference only - not parking.

Walk Leaders: Eileen McMahon: eileen.mcmahon186@gmail.com; 07749767202 and Maxine Quinn.
