Join us for this pleasant walk around Clevedon, along the promenade, along Poet's Walk and out onto the sea wall.  The walk is largely well surfaced and mostly flat.  There are wonderful sea views, down the Severn Estuary and across to the Welsh coast and mountains.

We'll stop for a break just before half distance.  Many of us bring a flask for a drink, and a snack, for this time.

No pub or lunch is planned for after the walk, but there are plenty of cafes and pubs near the pier and a promenade-side cafe and fish and chip kiosk close to where we finish.

There are toilets (40p) near the start and finish point.

We'll start at the rear of Salthouse field, near the junction of Elton Road and Old Church Road. If coming by car, there are road-side spaces on both these roads near the start point, or there is paid parking at Salthouse Fields Car Park (MiPermit app or cash, £2.60 for 4 hours). The X6 bus from Bristol City centre takes about an hour to the Salthouse Fields bus stop near the start point.
