Overview

A circular walk from Clifton. A gentle walk along both banks of the River Irwell and into Prestwich Forest Park, completely off road. It’s a little longer than the usual Monday walks but almost entirely flat.

St Annes Church, 237 Manchester Road, Clifton. This walk will now start exclusively at St Anne's Church Clifton; the option to start at Clifton Country Park has been deleted. There is informal car parking near the church and a good bus service from Deansgate / Salford (8) and from Eccles / Swinton (22).
