Overview

A lovely walk starting from Clun. Using pasture, footpaths, sunken lanes and some road. We visit Guilden Down, through woodland onto Lower Down and then Bury Ditches Hill Fort, an Iron Age fortification, considered to be one of the finest in Britain, only discovered in 1976 after a storm brought down trees and exposed the ramparts. We then return to car park.
