Clun - a Shropshire Way Festival Walk

This walk forms part of the week long Shropshire Way Festival of walks and takes place in the delightful Clun Valley environs. Starting from the car park at Clun Memorial Hall the walk includes two elements of the Shropshire Way South (1.0mile and 3.5miles) separated by country lanes, tracks and fields (8.5miles overall). The hike will pass through Guilden Down, Argoed, the picturesque Birches Mill and onward to Three Gates to join the Shropshire Way for the return walk to Clun via the splendid and highly regarded Cefns ridge. The terrain is hilly coupled with great views, giving an Ascent 1150ft.
