This walk is also part of the Shropshire Festival of Walks. A leisurely walk from the back of Wilderhope Manor (toilets at start). The footpath across 2 fields leads to the Shropshire Way, where a right turn (towards Easthope) provides lovely views over the valley below the manor. After 3 fields, another right turn on to a lane past Pilgrim Cottages into the wood, leads eventually to the path along Stanway Coppice towards Hopescross giving great views of the Clee Hills. At the bottom of the hill, another section of the Shropshire Way comes in from the right and leads northwards back to Wilderhope Manor.
There are 7 stiles on this section and possibly livestock in one or two fields.
There will be a short water break and a coffee/lunch stop en route.
